At L’AUGUSTE Provence, we have chosen to formulate without water.
Not because it is fashionable — because this approach reflects the way we conceive skincare: moving toward what is essential, formulating with precision, creating formulas that support the skin rather than burden it.

Why without water?

Most conventional cosmetics contain a high water content.
We made a different choice.
Formulating without water allows us to work with ingredients that are more concentrated, denser, and more sensorial — organic plant oils, waxes, clays, and pure essential oils — chosen for their precision, texture, and affinity with the skin.

Every ingredient must serve a purpose.
Every texture must make sense.

Inspired by aromatherapy

Aromatherapy has always guided us through its power of concentration.
In an essential oil, the plant expresses itself without dilution.
This idea of density, intensity, and precision has shaped the way we formulate.

At L’AUGUSTE, skincare does not stop at the skin. We believe in a beauty ritual that engages the body, the senses, and one’s inner state at once. Outer care and inner well-being do not oppose — they extend one another.

Our skincare is not static.
